Pakistan’s foremost painter of non figurative abstraction in the medium of
watercolor, has given a New Horizon to Art in Pakistan, also valued as a
visionary Art Educationist, Peace Activist, writer and research advisor. She is the
recipient of Awards of merit and Excellence from the country and abroad,
including President Pride of Performance Award in Painting 2018, Govt. Of
Pakistan. Award of Excellence 2017 and The Lifetime Achievement Award 2016
from the Centre of Excellence in Art & Design, Mehran University Jamshoro and
the “Prestigious Award” 1986 from Italy. She has travelled extensively,
exhibiting her paintings successfully around the globe, holding workshops giving
Demonstrations, Lectures & seminars etc. Has curated Art Exhibitions and
represented Pakistan in U.K, U.S.A, Canada, France, Italy, Germany, Holland,
Egypt, Japan, China, India & Nepal 10 Feature films cover her Art as a Rare
Painter of Abstraction. 14 Books on Art, Project her contribution in the progress of
Modern, Art.

Her Art works are in the National International Art Galleries, Museums, Governor
House (LHR & KHI) Govt. Offices, Universities, Educational Institutions, Banks
Clubs, Pharmaceuticals, Foreign Offices, in Corporate Collections and with the
known Arts Collectors, Inland and Abroad etc.

Artist’s Statement:

“Physical Reality” is only a reference to me. It is an outer truth, localized,
bounded and restricted. Where as the inner truth is “Abstract Reality” boundless
and wide!
In my Art, “Abstract Reality” becomes more intense than the “Physical Reality”
enhancing the provision of deeper aesthetic sensitivities, full of newness and of
universal appeal.
