I am a thirty four years old watercolorist from Karachi
striving for a way to move forward being a self taught
artist. Although, i had discovered my artistic instinct in my
childhood but i couldnt justify to my society that i want
to study art. I am a management student, living a

managerial life seeking for time to paint and I do it
successfully. As an artist I have participated in various
national and international group shows. I have been
honored with various recognitions specially 1st position at
Art Council of Pakistan in 2017 at Sindh Artists Exhibition
and Appreciation award at IWS Paksiatn in 2018. I work

hard to develop paintings that speak both to me and to
others about the beauty that exists in routine glimpses of
life. The fast moving life is full of flavours, colors,
expressions and moods, that are worthy enough to be
preserved. Part of my process before I begin painting is
to talk with the faces i came across too fast, it usually
takes weeks and sometimes months to negotiate with
them and have agreement to paint them. The

challenge, as with every recreated moment is to not
caricature the moment and instead capture it in all in its
real glory. My artwork speaks, not only for me, but for
people & objects who never said a word.
