A.S Rind is a Karachi based artist, graduated from CIAC ( Karachi Arts Council ) in 1988. He is awarded TAMGHA E IMTIAZ in 2024 for his achievement in the field of art. Primarily working with acrylics, oil and charcoal. Rind has been doing shows nationally and internally both, from 1986, including 28 solos and 115 group shows.

His work revolves around memory, heritage and culture which is depicted through female forms. Rind's signature style is harmonious, intricate and full of traditional patterns, motifs and vibrant color which creates a delightful blend to showcase the tradition of the subcontinent.

Date of Birth:   1960 in Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan.

Qualification:   

B.A From Punjab.
4 year diploma in fine art 1988 from Central institute of Art and Craft (Arts) Council, Karachi, Pakistan.

Career

Experience:

1986 worked with different mediums.

1990 worked in realism.

1992 worked In impressionism, done some works in cubism which was exhibited in Alliance Franchise, Karachi, Pakistan.

1998 Painted some work in different techniques and mediums

2002 started calligraphic paintings with own developed typography
