Artist Statement

I paint the gracious horses in the medium of oil, capturing its beauty, grace, movement, courage, strength and grandeur. I work with brush and bold palette knife strokes for adding a contemporary feel to the subject. Becoming an equestrian rider in 2013 illuminated this urge of preserving this elegant beauty on the canvas.

For me, my paintings are about finding a bond between the paint, my subject, and the moment!
