Over the years I have been pursuing the challenging genre of Realism with determined passion. To discover the possibilities of light and color I resort to diverse mediums which include watercolors, oil paint and acrylics. With their unique textures and values, these mediums give me the flexibility to achieve an endless variety of results.

For over a decade I have been focusing on Pakistan’s native culture, indigenous people and their creative productions ranging from clothes, cultural life, homes, architecture and their true expression and identity. I have a special liking for painting majestic buildings, mostly those of historical significance. Preserving these rare architectural sites is also part of my mission because with age these buildings begin to disappear.

My ultimate goal is to deploy art to preserve our country’s heritage and fortify its global image.

I was awarded the Sadequain Award in 1997. I was also conferred with a Special Prize at the Sindh Artists' Exhibition at the Arts Council of Pakistan in 2018. I participated in the All World Water Color Contest by IWS in Italy and the Czech Republic exhibition. I also participated in Grandeur Art gallery, Karachi, London Art Gallery 'Art for Art Sake' and in Kashmir Day Exhibition at Islamabad.
