My Name is Nafisa Saifuddin I was born in Hyderabad in 1998 I am a fresh graduate holding a BFA degree with a distinction in Printmaking from SABS, Shaheed Allah Bukhsh Soomro University of Art, Design Heritages, Jamshoro Sindh I had the opportunity to participate in a workshop called studio safe electro etching organized by Fazal Achak I have primarily worked with monoprints I am inspired by the purity and simplicity from my grandparent s anecdotes My work expresses my reaction to what we are losing in this covetous world.

The modesty and simplicity in the way of being was the most enchanting characteristics in my grandparent s anecdotes of the past Their narrative leads me to romanticize and reminisce a life I had never experienced Using their old photographs and multiple techniques, I have elicited the feeling of vivid nostalgia to resonate with the essence of their memories within my prints.
