I am Muhammad Hassan, a visual artist born in the second biggest city of Sindh, Hyderabad ( From a young age I was fond of art I used to sketch and paint using watercolour during my free time I went to Cambridge High School and then joined SABS, Shaheed Allah Bukhsh Soomro University of Art, Design Heritages, Jamshoro Sindh, which was previously known as CEAD (Centre of Excellence in Arts and Design) to complete my bachelor s degree in Fine Arts In order to expand my knowledge and skillset I opted for calligraphy and photography as my

electives For my final thesis I worked with candle smoke to create different forms of art.

UP IN THE SMOKE

Smoke I see not only as a black air, but I find multiple images when it flares up in its dark soft form Through the technique of candle smoke, I tried to control it according to images I wanted to create I also use burnt carbons to create textures Additionally, by adding acrylic paints, and masking tape I have created abstract visuals.
