 Zainab is a seasoned visual artist over 30 years of experience based in Karachi, known for exploring themes of identity, transformation, and the passage of time. With a distinct artistic voice, Zainab has participated in numerous group and solo exhibition, showcasing work that resonates deeply with viewers. Through a rich interplay of color, texture and symbolism. Zainab continuous to push creative boundaries, weaving narratives that reflect both personal and universal experiences. Beyond her artistic practice, Zainab has been passionately teaching art for many years, collaborating with various organizations. One of her greatest achievements is mentoring and inspiring countless students. Through both creation and education, Zainab continues to shape the artistic landscape, fostering the next generation of creatives.

Artists Statement:

My work is deeply rooted in the essence of transformation, patience, and the rarity of true visionaries. Inspired by the Urdu verse by famous poet Muhammad iqbal

“Hazaro saal nargis apni bay nori par roti hai

Bari mushkil say hota hai chaman mein deedawar paida”

This poetic line speaks of the long wait for those with true insight to emerge. Through my art, I explore the interplay between time, struggle, and enlightenment, illustrating how evolution weather personal or societal diamonds perseverance.
